Zach Bryan and Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia aren't "BFFs" — or boyfriend and girlfriend — anymore.
The breakup controversy surrounding the Grammy Award-winning, genre-bending singer and the hit "BFFs" podcast host is going viral after LaPaglia's revelations in a Thursday episode of her podcast.
"All I wanted was a kinder goodbye," LaPaglia said, adding that the process of their breakup was "discard, leave, bye. Me cry."
She claimed that Bryan offered her a $12 million NDA after the breakup − and that she turned it down – adding that she's speaking up "for anyone else that's been emotionally abused. It's for people right now that are being emotionally abused. It's for people that don't have a support system that I was luckily enough to have going through this."
USA TODAY has reached out to Bryan's rep for comment.

The podcast, with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards as co-hosts, was filled with other revelations, including claims about their night at the Golden Globes and what she says was a surprise split announcement.
"The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude," she said, adding that she is "still scared right now because I'm scared of him."
Here's what you need to know about the controversy and the pair of up-and-coming superstars.

LaPaglia claimed during the episode that Bryan "didn't like" her dress at this year's Golden Globes which led to an explosive disagreement between the pair.
"He didn't like my dress," LaPaglia added, alleging Bryan said "he didn't want to date someone that presents themselves that way."
"He ruined my night," LaPaglia said. "Everything good, anything good I did for me, he made sure to ruin it for me. He ruined my birthday, he ruined my tour, he ruined the Golden Globes. Anything Brianna did for Brianna, he had to ruin it."
She continued: "He makes me believe that I have to change my image to keep up with his or something," adding that the situation between them was "twisted."

Who is Zach Bryan? Who is Bri Chickenfry?
Bryan, a U.S. Navy veteran and Oklahoma native, is best known for his songs "Revival," "Something in the Orange," "Pink Skies," "Heading South" and "28." He has received four Grammy nominations in total for his country-tinged work. He also won a Grammy Award for his Kacey Musgraves collaboration, "I Remember Everything."
LaPaglia hosts of "PlanBri Uncut Barstool Sports" and the "BFFs" podcast. She rose to fame with her popular TikTok account, where she amassed a following of 1.6 million fans, with whom she shares updates on life, love and career.
In May, the pair were involved in a side-by-side car crash and LaPaglia took to TikTok to recount the "traumatizing" incident for fans.
"It flipped a bunch of times, everything shattered and thank God we had our seatbelts on," LaPaglia said of the crash, which happened two nights prior. "But there was a lot of blood and we thought we were saying goodbye to each other."
The two split last month, when Bryan announced the breakup on his Instagram account.
"I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I'll always thank her," he said. "I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna's privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too."
Shortly after Bryan's announcement, LaPaglia responded with a message of her own. "Hey guys I'm feeling really blindsided right now," she wrote on her own Instagram story. "Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I'm ready I’ll be back and ready to talk."
"How can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally, like through stuff that you shouldn't, … how can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and be discarded of in a few days?" LaPaglia wrote, telling fans she didn't want to talk about details and "right now, I wanted to heal privately."
